bagman eh, wander who that is?
I agree about the steel track frames. That's why people look to the lugs for the first sign of craftsmanship. I guess the equivalent on these frames being the welds, but that's hard to tell with filling and fileing.
Are they not all following in the footsteps of the cannondale track frame anyway?
I don't really understand the price point either. The Cinelli obviously has a brand that can boost the price, but why have Leader put theirs at just $100 lower. If they sold if for say, $400 they would hopefully sell a lot more then the fad would move on to something else. -

The leader is a collaboration between them and Pedal Consumption. Just as the man from Cinelli is claiming years of 'development' with the Mash boys, I'm guessing the 'development' with PC and the fact that there was the new tooling, promoting, hyping etc...and possibly more people to share out profits to has dictated the price point?
I personally much prefer the Kagero's appearance...from the paint, to the nicer looking welding, to the more rounded tube profiles. -

lo/fauxpro with almoast zero saddle to bar drop is somewhat disturbing
-
• #957
Fauxpro for the hipster/nodder cross over ?
-
• #958
Nowhere near zero saddle to bar drop (unless the rider grabs the very end of the bars as if holding a ball)
-

The bars have been adjusted since this was taken.
Hipster/Nodder = Pretty much perfect description of me!

Not a Cinelli^

It does make sense for this to become a Mash/Low/Kagero thread.

^That's looks more like a track bike.
Still, that slope...can>>>>>>>. -

That's almost... nice. Computer sensor positioning fail though.

Computer sensor positioning fail though.
That's where the spoke moves slowest which can give the most accurate readings. If your magnet -> sender, and sender -> computer can work at those distances it's actually sensor positioning win.

What's that?

It's the Leader collaboration thing.
The crack child of a Cannondale T1000 and Cinelli Mash.

So a Cannondale Track with Alpina forks

- dopey slope and shield/crest on the headtube, Cinelli style.

I see, I thought the opposite was true, i.e. that the further out from the hub and the quicker the magnet passes the better.
