can anyone recommend some mudguards that will fit a Parallax reasonably well? I need to turn mine into a decent commuter and am sick of a wet arse.

Raceblades fit the rear but are troublesome on the front due to clearances. My Musguards have been holding up and work well. The bonus is you can roll them up and stow them away easy! (crappy phone picture)

I use Raceblades. Like Duke said they can be a bit annoying to get on the front but it works for me on my Bolt, and I like the way they look too.
Don't have a photo of the front guard but you kinda get an idea..

The clearance on the parallax is much tighter. On mine anyway.

I could never get the front raceblade to work on my Vig. There's new Crud Roadracers, could be worth a try?

move that rear wheel back and i bet you can ziptie a full guard on there, race blades fit up front if you trim the lil plastic bit that hits the down tube, then adjust the stays slightly for the straight fork, i've put them on the front of my Histo to, no problem
