Interesting...Would have thought not much difference!? You all alu then? No crabons / steelz?
-
• #2678
Yup - 25c on all my track bikes (tight fit on the planet X fork and the cinelli one).

Can't get on with the size of mine #notaeuph
@Antidotes has first refusal
After that would anyone else be interested? -

Ahhhgh! I literally just bought a replacement frame an hour ago :|
Oh dear.
But I do know for a fact that @jesm would be totally stoked to buy the mash off of you.
Thanks for giving me first dibs @rallyman1978, really appreciate it!

Only 43mm difference in length of the bike from the smallest size S to the largest XL. It wont fit itself, but can be fitted.

Mine is the same size. Only had a short ride and the overlap didn't seem a problem but I think I'll avoid tight u turns just in case. Obviously on the track it would never be an issue. Thanks for the feedback btw.

All alu, my roadie is a 2008 CAAD 8!
Even comparing 23c on both track bikes, the Cinelli is noticeably smoother than the Trek but they are 5/6 years apart in design! And some yank hand welded the Trek. -

for me toeverlap is simply a matter of using clipless or not.

did you cut the ends off a pair of deda pursuit bars? if so, why?
-
• #2693
Yes, I did. Simply for the looks to be honest. Did few nasty hills with them and cycled on a velodrome and it's comfy. Maybe not for everyone's liking but it works for me.

Have a pretty ugly deda stem on my '09 vig at the moment (put it on temporarily and 7 months later it's still here), and am looking for a replacement to go with bullhorns. Any suggestions?

Guys,
anyone had issues with Cinelli frameset paint quality? I have a 2015 parallax and almost every time i am resting it against bench, wall or lamp post it get's pretty nasty scuffs and bruises just by barely touching the object. Feels like the paint(or finish) is made of mayonnaise.
is this just me being to pedantic or i have a flawed frame/paint?

• #2696
Paintwork on my Vig has been irritatingly tough.
-
• #2697
My 2014 Parallax is scratched up quite a lot after 6-7 weeks of ownership. Mostly from the hanging bike racks at the office as the clearance on the down tube is so tight, but it appears merely brushing up against the powder coated rails which support the front wheel results in an instant scratch.
PS: Jealous of the 2015 paint job! -
• #2698
Same.
This is after 3 years of almost daily locking up.

It's like a magic carpet ride compared with my 2008 Trek T1 running 23c!
