yup. it will withstand anything you throw at it (apart from racks with 30kg loads on pclips) ;)
seems a huge amount of money, you could have an entirely custom steel or even ti frame for that price!

I have to says that having a frame that fit you perfectly is nothing short of awesomeness.
BUT if your heart is set on those Cinelli bike, seriously go for it, you'll forever love it (I hope).
Once you do, move down to the south of the river, so we can ogle your bike at South Beer.

spent 10 mins drooling over it yesterday evening

The thing about getting a custom frame to fit me, is that I don't have enough experience in road bikes to make any objective decisions about what I'd like my ride angles to be like. If I decided that I actually want a more aggressive position for racing, or I ride it more on street and want things a bit easier, I'll be stuck with a frame that only really fits me and my gangly legs that I will probably have trouble shifting. Maybe a few more years down the line I'll go for something more explicitly tailored for me, when I am able to make informed choices about the setup.

I'm usually under the impression that cyclefit should able to figure out your best position regardless of how little you been riding for?
a quick and easy way to measure yourself up is to measure the inside of your legs, take away 10inch and there you have your frame size.

I've just been fondling one at BLB, absolutely beautiful frame.
They've imported that one themselves and at the moment I think its the only one in the UK. Its also a lot cheaper than they will be when they are officially supplied to the uk.
14 will have them in soon, but for the price you could fly to the states and pick one up.Chicken has them in stock.......

it's way overpriced. that shouldn't worry a hipster, it's probably what makes it alluring.

I was in the U. S. of fuckin A. at the weekend and I didn't see any cool rad doods riding one. Can I get a refund?

i don't think you would know what a cool rad dood looks like.
i only became enlightened when a bothersome street urchin pointed one out -
• #40
Did you give him a clip around his ear for his troubles?
-
• #41
no. i went to give him a fiver to buy a belt to hold his trousers up that were revealing his underpants. but he had pick-pocketed my wallet.
i just pulled the hoody over his head and kneed him in the face til he cried for his mummy. -

tired? have a lie down. it will still be overpriced when you wake up though.
-
• #44
my only thought is that i can't get excited about aluminum bikes which aren't being raced or used as a proper road bike.
beyond that. goferit

overpriced like £900 mountain bike forks?
-
• #47
MTB forks are way overpriced imho. the ones i'm selling for a friend are £900 RRP he wants £380 for them which i guess if you want some shit hot freeride forks is a good price.
but if you look at the alternatives (fox 40's etc) they are all similar prices.
you could have a custom frame made for the same price as that cinelli i just wouldn't have a 'mash' decal on it. but then being endorsed by Mash doesn't really have the same pull for me as a frame made by roberts/brian rourke/steve goff/chas roberts etc who know more about building frames than a bunch of fixie skidders -
• #48
i couldn't really give a shit about the Mash connection TBH.
fairplay to them all for doing the TOC on these frames though.
i like it because it's a lovley looking frame, and can only assume it would be made to Cinelli's high standards.... not a "bunch of fixie skidders" -
• #49
i'm sure it's well made just like the standard vigorelli. seems a bit steep paying that much more for a sloping top tube and different colour paint. (it's made from the same columbus tubing)
top marks for their marketing department, they will probably sell all they can make. -

Anyone have any ideas who makes these bars?
