I'm talking more just turn up at 10 every saturday and not change it for training, I love tinkering with bikes but I'm often running late and like to just hop on and not rush assembly.

how hard designing a geometry for street riding can be, i mean it isnt something like creating crampus or fatbike suspension. square c-c and 74 degree angles with 30-35 rake and 40cm chainstays and around 55-60mm bb drop.

i start loving the new frame/paint job. if the price and geometry is fine and they produce a xxl-version than this could be my first mash frame.

That's at least for 4 potential forum buys already...
I bet the RRP is around £900.

a lot of track frames, mash bolts, vigorellis, rush hour track pros included have a 58mm drop. it means that it's the minimum you can get away with using 165mm cranks on most veldromes
2mm is a bit of a drop in the ocean, no??? ;)

• #1884
Surely you mean maximum.

Nope, I want to avoid this as fucking riding brakeless on 88GI so I'd be applying for storage.
A track frame with a long drop out would be idea, like the Canyon, HoKe managed pretty well with different gearing.

I was having a brain fart, and thinking above the axle-axle line completely ignoring the fact that it would be a negative bb. nevermind me

Is the reason behind this not so you can ride to the track, flip the wheel and ride home after?
Thought that was the point in long dropouts.

Make that 5.
I've been thinking of getting a Bolt for quite some time, but the Parallax, with the tapered head tube and leveled top tube goodness is making me rethink that. The paint job is a grower. Not awesome on first sight, but it's not too shabby. Maybe if what's in white was in raw (like the new Histo paint job) it would be as instant hit.
Now, where are those geo numbers and price tag?

ps. I love it how everybody is like 'omg, tapered headtube, I need this, totally considering buying' etc etc
because everybody on here notices soooo much flex at the bottom of the headtube rofl -
• #1899
58 centre to top, bullshit.

if i'm remembering right it is 580.
however, i wanted the mash as a city and/or 2nd track bike, therefore a top tube like the one from the mash histogram in xxl would have been great (595mm)
^^If you have the opportunity to store it at HH... Great! However, as you get more and more into track racing I seriously doubt that you would want to stick to one setup and not change it, but that's beside the point.
