Mash Owners - humour me for a minute. My Mash has a ~1mm gap between the fork and then headtube. My other bikes with integrated headsets don't have such an obvious gap. Crown race is installed correctly, bearings arn't that worn. What do other people's bike like?

has anyone seen a photo of a small sized low// built up? 50-52cm of the track standard or pursuit.
and how much does the frame weigh?
Finally, low vs mash bolt? I know i can get better frames for the price but I want a frame I love and in small frame sizes the mash does seem to look good
I hear Low/\ has upped the price to $1000 for the frame... up from $600 dat some srs hipster tax.

I should definitely know this, but what replacement headset do I need for my vigorelli? It's the 2010 one so before they switched to internal/semi integrated. It's like normal external cups but oversize.

is it 1 1/8" top 1.5" bottom?
-
• #1213
Pretty sure it's 1 1/8" for both. Outer measurement of both cups is 46mm

yes mate. met your mate Henry / Sumo at LMNHs who recognised the frame as soon as it was out the box. I reckon its a touch small on me but seriously surprised how light it is. (I used to swear by steel) I'm noticing a bit of flex in the frame by comparison
Ive prob only done less than a couple of miles on it but its as twitchy/responsive a fucked off bat and pouncy like a leopard on the hunt. Doing about 25miles on it tomorrow.
can.not.wait.

Yeah man it is really light, I agree absolute hoot to ride we had some good times...
hard to say on size till I see your set up, it was pretty comfy for me with 100mm stem and profile T2 bars.
looking forward to seeing your completed build and the rest of those decals.

Hi guys,
You'd have to be living under a rock not to have noticed the mash copy group buy thread going on.
I'm in out it. Now my dilemma I have never owned a track or tarck frame before so sizing is a little bit of guess work. I realise you guys get this all the time and if I could I would try out a build, but living in belfast there are little to no track bikes and no where that has a mash built up. So this geo is unfamilar ground to me.
I'm currently riding a 55cm square frame road frame, which feels alright but I'm sure is a little on the small side:
and finally the old fit calculator:

You running it with riser bulls or drops?

You running it with riser bulls or drops?
all three depending on the day/ride.
deda chronos low rider bulls i think where my fav's on it.
size 52 pursuit, my 55 pursuit was 1495grams including 2x80grams of chris king headset cups installed
if you have the patience go for LOW. Much Nicer. The welds, ahh.
as for the "getting a better frame for the price". Well, that depends on what you are after. Sub 1,4kg hand made and finished track frame for like 900 euros is pretty decent, I think.
