  • That's really nice work Phil, almost makes me want to build a fixie. However, it's 2011 now, everyone's agreed that god invented single-geared bikes for polo and everything else is just jumping on the bandwagon.
    Still a great video though.

  • booooo. matt u know fixed gears are awesome.

  • Here is me just before having an epic on El Capitan.

Taken by Alex Buisse, a professional French climbing photographer, check him out:

  • Support the N30 STRIKE- Solidarity BIKE RIDE!

On November 30th over 3 million people will take direct action against the Government’s austerity agenda. In one of Britain’s biggest strikes in living memory, teachers, construction workers and fire fighters will all come together on picket lines to reject the Government's unjust assault on public sector pensions.

The government and the media have tried to discredit the action by saying that the strikers don't have public support.
Let’s show them that they’re wrong.

Join us for a SOLIDARITY BIKE RIDE around the Newcastle Pickets!

We will be serving tea and dancing to protest tunes old & new!!
Come along and show your support for people on the picket lines at schools, colleges, universities and hospitals around the town centre...

Meet Wednesday 7.15am at the bottom of Sidney Grove, Fenham, or 7.30am at St.Thomas' Church, Haymarket

  • I'd love to show a bit of solidarity by coming along to this. 7.30am is a bit early for me to make it into town, however. Do you happen to know if there's a set route or timetable for this so I could join it later on?

  • yep ... the early start lost me straight away ... and the mention of dancing .. !!!!

i think there's a rally/march from the centre for life (12.00) up to the monument (1.00PM) ... might be a bit crowded if the shitty christmas food stalls are still there.

if ur heading in, let me know and we can meet up

  • correction .. found the link http://www.n30strike.org/location/newcastle/

it's pretty much all over by 10.00 AM ... the march/rally thing is at spillers wharf down the quayside

  • Shame it's pretty much all over before the average student gets out of bed, but there you go....

On another note, I've been reading up about 'Bespoked' in Bristol. Are you still interested in going?

  • has anyone seen this thing, bloody lush in my opinion
