it might also take more than a day so possibly factor in a nice cheap B&B

Just curious how this works for you dicki - I can see how do you cover your travel costs e.g. from the Londaon train station to the collection address train station but what about getting to and from the actual collection address ?

as most cities aren't the size of london i usually walk / cycle around explore and get to the collection address on foot / by bike
if i need to grab a bus at the location that is my cost for a bit of exploring a new place, usually isn't more than a £5
it's the mainline train costs i ask for to be refunded, thats where the expense lies

obviously if it was a bike in a remote part of the lake district it might be trickier to get to but haven't encountered that yet
