I spent the past month listening to this, and would recommend. It's good all year, of course. There's not much filler on here.
Among the highlights are

I still get a chill hearing the opening chords to The Cramps' version... Majestic...
Norton reissued it on 45 a few years back if you're into that kind of thing...

I liked the first volume enough that I bought this the other day. Ace Records puts out a lot of good stuff.

My bro was over from Gambia, he always buys loads of vinyl when he's here, mostly mid/east african and central american stuff, with other bits thrown in. He bought Green on Red 'Down There' from '82, a uk release 7tk album. He didn't like it so left it for me. I'm really fuckin diggin it! Anybody else kniw these guys from Tucson?

No Michael Steele = ►►►►►►►►►►

Nope, it's Annette Zilinskas, who went on to form Blood On The Saddle. Which kind of brings us back to Green On Red, as they were both lumped into that country punk type thing.

I know, my point being Michael Steele is all kinds of hotness, I had such a mega-crush on her growing up...
Didn't she go out with Brad Shepherd from the Hoodoo Gurus? I seem to remember an old mate spitting bullets when he found out, mainly cuz he was ten times the guitar player Brad was but his seminal Aussie band were broke and the Gurus were touring the world dating rock'n'roll hotties left, right and centre...

Shameless plug alert...
I played guitar on this and it's coming out on Record Store Day, haven't heard the final mix yet but I'm told it sounds great... The Godfather of Grunge, Mr Kim Salmon, and a few rock'n'roll Herberts from North Brisbane...
