MKE Bruiser.

Can't stand fgfs bikes with the saddles to low to comfortably pedal on...
-
• #730
Why? That seat is too high to comfortably do tricks on
-
• #731
Plus thats not really a FGFS bike, mavic open pros? Come on, they'd bend on the first stairset.
-
• #732
yeah thats not a trick bike.
huge chainring, really high seat and skinny ass wheels -
• #733
Judging from his other bike the guy is pretty tall, but yeah i see what you saying.
I mean when people pretty much slam there saddle and ride fixed, i think it just looks awkward, no style at all. nothing to do with the bike i posted, just saying.
-
• #734
but the whole point is that the bikes are smaller and more compact so you can throw them around a lot more
-
• #735
^^ watching someone trying to do tricks on a seat with full leg extension would be fuck load more awkward
-
• #736
^ Agreed!
-
• #737
Yeah i get that, but in my opinion, if you can't ride to the spot in reasonable comfort, i really don't see the point.
i'm sure the guy on the MKE don't take tricks to seriously.
-
• #738
You ever ridden a BMX?
-
• #739
Talking out my arse a bit here to be honest, just came to mind earlier today talking to a mate
yeah i rode bmx for a few years until about 2011 maybe, until my bmx got stolen and i never really got into it again.
Last bike I had was a KHE zenith ignore the fat retard in the backround.

MKE Bruiser.
Love this bike. Tis more of a City thrasher or a freestyle bike from the whole Bootleg Sessions era.
-
• #741

Then you should realise getting to a spot in comfort has fuck all to do with anything.
-
• #742
And what's the point in having the seat high and getting to a spot comfortably if once you get there it's way to hard to do any tricks and a horrible ride.
Might as well just have the saddle low because really it doesn't effect getting anywhere at all
-
• #743
Often had to ride like 5 miles to a decent spot, with a slammed saddle it just wasn't pleasant.
Just saying, when i see guys riding fixed on 26ers and they can't even sit down, they may be doing some impressive tricks, but i don't think it looks good, it looks awkward, no style to it, so then i don't think those bikes look good, when the saddle is up a bit i think it looks much better, my personal opinion from the few video's i have seen.
You don't need to give a shit about my opinion as many guys on here ride these bikes every day because they enjoy it
-
• #744
allen key?
-
• #745
I did use some stupidly long seat post at one point, for getting to the spots, was actually awesome, but i'm just not born to bmx, not gifted that way
-
• #746
I don't think you're getting it, they can sit down with slammed seats, but tricks are easier if they don't.
simple as that. Having a seat on a trick bike as high as you'd have it on a commuter is just stupid
-
• #747
Don't think i do really get it. just gets to a point when the saddle is so low they may as well put a cassette on it, but agree to disagree or what ever.

Epic conversation.

• #749
Oh and BMX wise, this frame was epically low (and shite):
And thats what low slung with large posts look like. blackeye killorado. Wtf -
• #750
That's a flatland bike
Fun fact: My LBS had the T1 Garrett Byrnes Barcode that was used in the new products bit of Ride. I think the frame number was 0004.
