Nice, I wanna see the chainring (if they are making one) that goes with that spider, alot of people are starting to run the tree sprockets and micro drive gearing now though, which don't require spiders or crank arm bolts to support it:

that was a previous picture, not sure if thats the final sprocket, not even if they will do a sprocket. spider will reach germany not before summer. one is pre-ordered ;)

Nice, i'm probably going to switch to bmx cranks as soon as I get my new frame on order, I might even see if I can specify a bmx Mid BB as it is much stronger than all that euro shite, bigger bearings, no cup threads etc, then i'll probably go for a tree or the new 14bike co ones, i've seen a prototype and they look real good, very similar to the macneil full bash guard sprockets, except made out of a stronger alloy, 7075 I think, and in bigger sizes for fixed as well as the normal microdrive sizes.

are there fixed gear frame companys who use midBB?
maybe FBM if you ask for?for BMX bikes midBB is already standard.

I don't think anyone uses it as standard at the moment, and yeah I know about it being the standard in bmx, they tried to push Euro BB's on bmxers but they just weren't strong enough, smaller bearings and the threaded cups being the problem.
Mid BB's are the toughest, always have and always will be....well US bbs were the best, but Mid BB is a lighter better modern alternative that is more than strong enough :). Oh i'm not going to FBM for my frame, i've got something home grown and handbuilt in England in mind...... -

do you think this thread should be called 'freestyle fixed bike porn' rather than 'trick bike porn'? It does sound a little like you're going to see something dodgy that's not really to do with bikes! (Interperet this as you wish but I'm not being deadly serious about the matter!)

Could do I guess, i'll mull it over tonight, and change it tomorrow.

You could leave it as a quirky title. I only really meant to bring it up as a funny comment!
-
• #22
gonna add some straps to the pedals to be fixed ;)

Yeah I kinda like titles with sexual connotations/puns in there :p
