And it's not like the money went back into the economy. Geezers worked their arses off to send everything off to their wives abroad. Themselves stuck in some dingy bedsits with five others, eating baked beans flushed down with Special Brew all day long and putting strain on the NHS to treat the resulting irritable bowel syndrome in a walk-in center in Charing Cross. Not sure whether win, mega win, or fail but these guys new how to throw a party and their land lord sounds like a massive wanker. I went to some of their house party's and they were awesome.

Used to go to a mates house in Chester that got the same rep. It ended up with bouncers on the doors, a bloke upstairs that set a can bar up and more coke, E and smoke that I had ever seen before.
Had to pad the windows with mattresses to soundproof the place. I lived 20m away and they were all good mates/favorite dealers.
Good times from what I can remember...

When was all this Manchester ASBO house business? My girlfriend lived at 146 Wellington Road while she was at Manchester Uni, and that was her landlord.

^ nice find.
Same same. This is how the construction industry looked in the UK before Poland joined the EU.
I worked as a "decorator" for some guy in the late 90s, because I painted an oil painting on a couple of occassions. That guy employed maybe three or four of us picked up from outside a Polish shop in Hammersmith. He was hired buy a proper self-employed decorator - originally from Poland -who himself was hired by some Irish contractors. We were doing up some detached house in Kensington paid £120 per week.
Yes, the recession is my fault #singlehandedly
