Ha! I used to be into yo-yoing as a kid. Never saw any comp/pro footage then (pre internet access) remember seeing a video of an asian comp a few years ago and was gobsmacked at what they were doing. This just looks impossible, jedi-level shit right there. If someone like that put as much dedication into dancing or playing guitar, they would be rich & famous with a harem of groupies.

Yeah, i know people who have had pretty bad complications with cochlear implants, requiring several return visits to hospital and quite a lot of corrective surgery.

Still when it works it is an amazing and lifechanging thing.
