  • my family took this photo sometime in the 70's.
reached 19.88km on a weather balloon. done with a timing mechanism and a super market disposable camera.
i really want to recreate the series of shots that they took. seems an awful lot easier to do it nowadays!

  • It did benicio del toro in that bond film didnt it?

    edit: licence to kill

  • 1:03 - 1:24 This guy is determined to prove the effectiveness of his destroying machine on feminine hygiene products for some weird reason

  • hahaha i didn't notice thats what they were on first watch.

  • It is impressive when they feed the sofa into it!

  • why on earth did they choose to shred a box of tampons?

  • Who knows! I'm just glad they did

  • i am the only one who is kiiiiiinda wondering what it would feel like to poke a finger in it.

  • I was having a bet with myself to see how long it would be before someone came up with a suggestion like that^

  • nope, i was thinking that if i owned one it would only be a matter of time before i was tempted to dip my hand.

  • like Benicio del Toro in Licence to kill

  • it happens in a bond film too I think, except the machine is own by a drug lord and is being used to break up huge rocks of crack

  • Not seen that Bond film and youtube doesn't seem to have any clips of the scene

  • its in licence to kill i believe

  • Yeah, I think it's used in a Bond film. Forget what it's called.
