The flat spins are very impressive, the manoeuvre I was thinking of is called 'Pugachev's Cobra', which seems like a staggeringly dangerous thing to do in a aircraft.

Think the Russian's deserve a bit more credit than that. It uses thrust vectoring (changing the angle of the exhaust nozzles) which the Eurofighter doesn't.
