Today I win, for once. My beloved, three year old iMac went dead suddenly last week. Just taken it to the Apple shop's so-called genius bar and they told me the motherboard is fried. "Bum" I thought, "that's bad". £700+ repair that effectively writes off the whole thing.

BUT they have put it through on my extended Applecare that expired last month. Free of charge. Fucking have it.

Just weird.

okay now I'm a bit scared about my iMac, it's also nearly 3 years old (first Intel one from the government for free), while I'm perfectly happy with it, it's already showing sign that it's about to give up the ghost.

That is immense, but to be honest all this American massive ramp stadium stuff is really unappealing.

superp...disagree! i think the whole corporate side of this stuff is totally OTT..x games, la la la, but i think a lot of this big ramp stuff is fucking awesome and really pushes all sports involved, just with the increased air time. this shit takes balls of solid rock...i'm not a bmxer but that guy landed that dubflip so smooth is was ridiculous and you have to admire that 1000% as a nutter, athlete and professional.
