If you go to the vimeo site it tells you why he was brakeless.

He "misplaced" his brakes? It's not like they're a superfluous addition to the bike which one can do without. Misplacing brakes (which I can't say I actually believe) is like misplacing wheels, in my opinion. I.e., means the bike isn't ridable.

Akrigg kills it at that very same place on a trials bike. Looks like he does these videos on fixed wheel and single speed just for a laugh. And probably to show howw the maurice can take a beating.

He has been doing brakeless trials for yonks, im sure it feels a lot more atural to him and he is not going to harm anybody in the countryside.

I remember watching a video of the poll tax riots where a protester pulled the placard off the pole he was using and started attacking a police horse, its rider turned round and gave him a good whomping with his baton. I am a great advocate of non-violence, but that chump had it coming, what did he expect? The police can defend themselves the horse's can't.

I'd probably hit someone with a baton if they're screaming 'shame on you' in my face for long enough!

My brother was at the riots yesterday(police), apparently some of the rioters had fashioned some sort of ramming device to try and break the police line. When you go down for the sole purpose of causing trouble and undermining the protest then you'll get what you deserve.

Police charging horses at people is a win? Are you fucking kidding? This will never be a win. Whether they "deserved it" or not. Being near a copper shouting, while other people are, allegedly, being violent is enough reason to get smacked in the face with a weapon? Because "they have a hard enough job"? Too bad for this guy, he wasn't aware of that rules it seems.

And your'e right, I don't know the details of that case. In fact, it's probably a scam. I'm sure the two lecturers he was with are in on the scam. I bet he hit himself in the head. And the copper who tried to get him an ambulance, he's probably in on the scam as well.
