I just killed a mouse that's been pestering me for over a year. Was making a cup of tea, saw it in the corner of my eye, I knew it was penned in as I bloked off that aea recently, I ran got my cricket bat and stalked it for 20 mins. It runs out once i miss block it off, it runs back. 5 mins later it makes a dash for the hob, i half decapitate it on the metal rim of the hob.

Victory.

pics neu ... i once killed a rat in my flat with a 5kg dumbell, the little bastard had been pissing me off for over a month at that point, which makes my killing of it entirely justified.

Rodent away = chocolate power mixed with plaster (as in, the stuff on your walls). They love chokkie, scoff it up, and then go all hard on the inside. Bit like a hairy toffee.

Very naive, neu. There'll be plenty of other mice where that one came from.

I know it sounds naive, and maybe I'm wrong but it's been here a long time (the previous tennents also thought so) and hearing it on the boards in my ceiling day in and out, it seems like a single fella

Even if there weren't any others (which is highly doubtful), a new lot will probably move in in no time at all.

You need to tackle the problem more at source, e.g. get your landlord to do some work on the flat to block off all the entrances. I seem to remember a thread on here before which had a lot of advice.
