Special brew was pricey.

Couple cans of Kestral Super strength was the thing. Tasted like licking the road..............................ironically.

Kestrel and Tennent's and white ciders are gateway drinks to crack.

I am also aware of stronger ones as well.

Tennents Super, Carlsberg Spesh at 9% and the cheap option at 8.5% was 'HSL'
Which we always said was backwards initials for 'Last Swig Heaven' -
Cus it really was bad at the bottom.

When it first arrived the other UK beers were pretty weak. The common 5% lager wasn't around 15 years ago.

So it is a bit old now.

Still shit beer mind you...

It does turn a few people loopy, I know a number of people who wont touch the stuff as they know they get their raging arsehole on.
