You do realise you won't be allowed to hit anything you are reviewing with a hammer don't you?

I'd like to volunteer to review some EPO

Shini, please do.
And wiganwill, the rims are machined so you would be good to go.
Photos don't need to be pro... but if you want to mention stuff in the review, it's just good to have photos to show what you're on about.
Examples of good reviews:
clefty's review of the Xena disc alarm is the kind of thing we're aiming for: https://www.lfgss.com/thread24813.htmlmurtle did a great job with photos of the Fenix lamp, but didn't really go into showing how it was fitted to the bike, nor mentioned how long the battery lasts, etc:
https://www.lfgss.com/thread32744.htmlSo clefty's is spot on in terms of both word count, photos and content... and murtle showed good use of photos to show something that most product photos wouldn't.

I'd also be happy to give the wheels a once over.. Not particularly busy so have time to get out and ride/write.
I've got a funny-ish spacing on the rear though. What are the specs?
-

I can damage wheels for you and copy/paste a damning report. I can even refrain from swearing but I charge extra for that.

And I'm not really counting words... if a product doesn't have much to say about it, then fair enough... but I want people to foremost be reviewing stuff for the benefit of other cyclists and secondarily for the manufacturers and retailers. People have questions when they're looking for wheels, how they ride, the specs (especially if those aren't covered by the manufacturers website), finish details, etc. Anyone who really looks at the product and considers it is going to go past 500 words easily... saying 1,000 words is just to say: "Not too short, not too long".
I'm not really word-counting.

I'd be happy to try the security product as long as it was good, my bike is currently locked up outside all day in our office car park with a Fagh chain, but the bike racks have regularly been done by thieves.
If my bike gets nicked, they owe me a custom frame though..

Cheers Shinigami, I am said lurker. Here I am fully manned up. Velocio, dead interested in any reviews, either of those sound great, in fact. Same goes with book submissions, anything and everything.

• #165
clefty, I'll put you down for the security product and will make sure you get whatever bits you need to secure it.
wigan, if all this sounds good and you want to do the wheels and can do the review (considering time, effort, etc)... then let me know.

grrrrrrrrrr!!

• #167
clefty, I'll get the manufacturer to email you directly... if you have a preferred email address (aside from the one in your profile), please PM me.

I'm sure Wigan Will would do a better job but I could give the wheelset a thorough review if for some reason he can't.
-
• #169
I could do either

No need to be formal, call me will.
Yup, up for it, reasonable amount of free time so just let me know where and when to collect. I am assuming the rear spacing is 120mm? -

none of those replies were there when I started typing :-)
If the security product is those pitlock-on-steroids that Royce are making I'll be very interested to see the review. Especially in respect of their ability to effectively replace standard fixings as well as their security efficacy.

I am assuming the rear spacing is 120mm?I've asked about the spacing and am hoping to hear back soon as it's obv' important that they fit, but as they told me that they are for fixed bikes I'm assuming 120mm.
