I have a secure bike shed in Damien Street (10 mins walk or so away) if that'd be of help.

You could conceivably walk to the Museum of Childhood. It would be approximately a fifteen-minute walk.
Shocker, eh? ;)

You can imagine the chilling effect that fear of bike theft has on people who aren't total bike nuts. It puts a huge number of people off who have only just started--many don't go back if they immediately get their bike nicked.

Again, I offer my place at the bottom of kingsland road. I'm home most nights and you're welcome to pop in and drop your bike.
Failing that, the stand outside the grocery is pretty busy and safe.
