Jumble starts when it opens at 10 I think. I've managed to get a pitch so say hello if you're there. Army cap and hangover face.

Yep I'm heading down - Mackenzie's suggestion of 10am the Pavilion Cafe at Victoria Park is OK with me. And if they all ride too fast and drop us, well I hope one of you knows the way to HH, cos I don't :-)

Ha ha! Back when men where real men on the track!
-
• #55
A-Z and google maps should get us there in one piece. See y'all at 10!

If the weather fucks things up at least we'll have a nice forum day out... Herne Hill Velodrome is my favourite place in the world, I love it when it gets busy down there... Should be like that all the time really... wipes tear from eye
See you guys down there... Say hi! :] -
• #57
I'll be there about 11ish - weather permitting
-
• #58
I might head down. Wanna get some nice (but cheap) cranks. Might stick around if there's a group of people going to be there.
-
• #59
All ready camping there waiting for the rain!
-
• #60
Woop! At 8.38 its dry, low cloud and little wind.
-
• #61
Well, a light shower has just sprinkled HH but it's getting sunnier and it's warm. It's going to be good.
-
• #62
Hmm, thick blanket of white/grey cloud now :(
I'll be there at 10 on the dot for the jumble - ready to pounce of anything even half-resembling a 53cm Dolan :D

Hangover and lethargy fail!

Have spent the last 2 hours looking out the window wondering whether it'll start raining by the time it takes me 50 mins to cycle down there.
If I leave, it will rain. If I don't, it'll stay dry. -
• #71
Well it's not raining here in SE5 (2 miles from VD)
-
• #72
do you need to get tickets in advance?
-
• #73
It's £12 on the door, half price for U16s.
I'm going to go out on a limb here, and recommend a new internet utility that helps find information across a broad range of interests.

Rain held off till 2pm then it tipped down just as they were getting out the motorbikes.
Lots of friendly and familiar faces about. Good day.

Yes, shame it got a bit damp. Met a chap who'd come down from Hull yesterday, ridden fixed overnight to Southend and then come back into town to watch the racing.
I'd been looking forward to seeing these guys on the track:
I'm up for this providing it stays dry(ish).
Fruitbat and BlueQuinn - you still gonna be heading down from east? Not sure I'll be able to keep up with the younger east peeps! :p
