sam, i don't know how you could have failed to see those signs. they are everywhere.

anyway, am staying in bembridge so will be starting the ride from the checkpoint there. half a dozen of us are staying saturday and sunday night.

but listen, seems like a lot of B & Bs have closed down as some of the numbers i had are proving fruitless. greasy, fiddy, corny - any of you guys staying on sunday night will need to get on to finding a place to stay. i know a place that has a double room going but not sure how cosy you guys are!

Check out the campsite with Airstream vans, might have some space still?

We'll be laying siege to the island under cove of night at Fishbourne. then it's a 9 mile clock wise route to takes us via Bembridge. We could catch arrange to meet there and head off

sounds good greasy, but you guys will be rolling faster than us. we are Leisurely Pace for this one so will set off and no doubt you will catch up with us. also, you might not fancy going clockwise 9 miles only then to turn round and go 9 miles the other way on the official route.

guess it depends what time you touchdown on the island. sounds like you guys will be arriving early enough to spin over east, drop off your booty and then get amongst it.

ahh shit the other way! always the case.... we will be on dry land for 10am.
