your cam is dead?

**your **cam is dead. I'm confused.

How about I'll mug all of you then none of you will have a cam and I might stand a chance at barspinning.

i'm learning double's at the moment so i don't think i'm gonna have much chance, just thought it might be a bit of fun.

not sure what a barspin means here
in bmx there are some variations

barspin (both wheels in the air)
barturn (front wheel in the air)
manual barspin (manual barturn would make sense...)
...
and my favorite, "barspin" or whatever: both wheels on ground

and, whats a double?

barspin, catch, barspin? or double spin?

i'd say just a 'lift up the front and spin' kinda' barspin. A 'double' meaning a double spin but im also working on spin, catch and spin back again.

Barspin to barspin back is fun, but watch you don't impale yourself on the bars!

Hey Phil have you got hop barspins on your bmx?
I had them way back but haven't done them in god knows how long, hopefully i'll pick them back up on my 24 inch relatively quickly.

I got really close a couple of months back but haven't really been on the bmx for a while. I think you'll find it a fair bit harder on the 24, just cuz of the wheel size and how much more effort it is to get the wheel round. Also, the 24 will be a lot harder to hop than the bmx. I don't mean to talk you down, I think you should go for it and prove me wrong. I wouldn't mind having a bit of a barspin session with you if you like. Where did you learn? I found that riding up a faltbank and hopping 90 was the most comfortable for me.

I learnt them on the flat at low speed and over a small flatbank (like a 90 degree hop transfer) at a skatepark I used to go to (at low speed).
I know they are probably going to be a little harder on 24 as the wheels are bigger etc, but in terms of the bunnyhopping side of things i've never found that a problem as 24 inch always seemed to suit my body mechanics a lot better than being hunched over on a bmx, I used to get 3 ft or bar height just about on 24 inch, but having not done any proper high hops in a while that'll probably be down to 2/2 and a half feet at the moment until I get used to the bike again lol, i'm well up for a sesh when its built, probably 2-3 weeks away at the moment I guess?

hey dudes....anyone live in london...i cant get my fixie to skid.....anyone help??

you probably don't have the right equipment,

you need 2 arrospoks, both have to be different colours, you need a lighter colour on the front to offset the weight at the rear.

then all you have to is grunt (or bark) when you try and skid and hey presto.

EDIT, cos i can't type

And don't forget to put your balls on your stem.

Or your ovaries.

New member here, I would be moving to England in September, and am trying my luck seeing if there are any fgfs bikes for sales?
