Second time this season my BB has decided to try and make a bid for freedom mid-race.
Miche BB's are shit.

the one on my commuter has made the final shift from treacle to woodchipper, I don't think this winter agreed with it.

I used one all last season, and it was fine. On a retarded Itallian threaded frame too.
This new one just refuses to stay put.

Did you thread lock it?

PX BB's are milled very well so there are no tight bits in the BB thread to keep it locked in. A little bit of blue thread lock will keep it put.

mine are (and my italian BB) true set and forget.

me no used locktight on the threads (but around the bearings to keep them tight in the cups), infact for the install i actually used grease and set the correct torque.

Internal BBs belong on bikes used by riders who produce more than 1000watts of power.

Anyway, we've been through this sordid crap with thingy tester before. Just use decent quality square taper or octastink and get on with it.
