Sort it out yeah Gaz, we need someone down there to talk about but never actually form a breakaway.

Last year Saturday sessions went into December/January. If I recall it was mostly chaingang stuff, on wet days that meant a face full of water from the wheel in front. I haven't heard what is the plan for this year.

lol.
thanks for the info PS - I didn't know that. Not a massive fan of Saturdays, but could face it if the numbers thin out once the weather disappears.

Hopefully they'll also do the turbo sessions again this year.
-
• #1406
what's the deal with those? Bring your own turbo and get shouted at for an hour? :)
-
• #1407
Herne hill has turbos, bring your own bike

That's great. Shame I play football on Thursdays. Will try to make every other or something.
-
• #1409
Last year it was wednesdays! though that might not help your football performance
-
• #1410
don't really care - don't play in a league anymore, so I'm sure I can do both.

Going to be cutting it fine tonight and might miss the first 30 mins

• #1412
last night was good. Unusually hard work.. I shouldn't have drunk all that beer after.
-
• #1413
Guessing it was fast people dropping down a group so they didn't have to do madison!
-
• #1414
exactly that.
Despite arriving 15 mins early, I couldn't get into my container until the warmup had started - so I ended up missing it and tried to use the first scratch as a warm up. Was definitely NOT a warm up race!

Good session yesterday. Am not in any way quick but am now at least confident on the track will be coming to Wednesday league from now, all err 3 of them.

Okay, so if I buy a licence now it's still only valid until December so I might just wait till then and get a fresh one for next year.
-
• #1417
The BC race license is good for 12 calendar months if that is what you are referring to?
-
• #1418
Don't think it is;
Membership is per 12 months.
Race License is annual. -
• #1419
I think the provisional license you get with Silver BC membership (which will suffice for track league but you cant earn any BC points) runs for a year from the date you pay?
-
• #1420
Ah, that could be the case; i've got the full license
-
• #1421
No need to show off yeah :(
-
• #1422
I dont have any BC points to show off with!
-
• #1423
crowbar is right, my provisional license shows a 12 month validity. I got the BC silver to get insurance for the Thursday night derny sessions. Maybe I should go over to the derny thread >>>

So I can race on Wednesdays with a provisional?
-
• #1425
Yes you can race wednesdays on a provisional, but can you really race wednesdays on a provisional?
Gaz - track league ends on the 18th and Monday night finish on the 30th. Looks like Saturday training will go on until the end of October though.
