Look good! I got a pair of dyad's because i wanted a wider rim but they aren't as deep as the deep-v's. Look's like these could be what i was after

Dependent on the tire though.

I know 28mm cheap kenda's will pop off, so will marathons.

they are wider so hold bigger tyres and have more sideways strength, no?

true dt, but i wonder if there is critical point when you become too wide? deep v could be stronger as they are more compact???

Depends how they are horizontally re-inforced between the 2 verticals.

But V's have always been available in ...36, 40 and 48h. Shops don't usually carry 40 and 48 but surely 36h are around? I have a set I'm building as soon as spokes arrive.

well the last hubs should've been 36, but there was a stuff up. anyhoo, 48h dyads and 48 hubs on the way.

Out of interest, what 48H hubs are you going for Dale?
