I ask because I just wasted a whole day waiting for Ist Action.com to turn up and by the time (7 :15pm) he did I was so pissed off I told him to not bother.
Was booked for 1 - 3 pm and I'm prepared to wait longer but the chap phones me at 3:30 pm to say he is 'running late' on his present job so will make it 4:30 - 5 pm.
Nothing.
I ring Ist Action.com and they say he is expected at 6:30 - 7 pm.
I get calls from him trying to locate my address and them some garbled talk on my intercom .
I go out to direct him to the obvious gates and meet some car full of 'family' and some desultory appologies. That rant over - Can Anyone recommend a** professional** plumber in south east London ?

You can do most things yourself, with a bit of thought and some reading.
What is it you wish to achieve?

No, but I need my combi boiler fixed and serviced if you can do me a gas safe cert. I'll need a gas hob installing too in a few weeks.

Plumbers! I have questions for you:
I have a Vaillant ecoTech plus 937 boiler that has some tanks in it that can be pre-charged with hot water to deal with periods of high demand. The boiler has an anti-Legionnaires feature whereby, twice a day, the tanks are heated to 70-degrees plus. The result is that sometimes the water coming out of our hot taps is dangerously hot.
So, is it possible and safe to disable this function? Or, is it possible to fit a temperature regulator to the boiler outflow without dropping the hot-water pressure? Can you recommend a temperature regulator and how much would it cost to have it fitted?

I am not sure if you can disable the anti-legionaires feature, I will admit I haven't had a lot of dealings with this boiler. How many bathrooms does your property have? It is possible to set it so the tanks are not used and it just runs as a conventional combi.

That would be a neat solution. We only have 2 bathrooms and they're very rarely used together so I think it could probably handle the load in standard combi mode. I know the feature can be disabled if you go right into the commissioning menu, but if the tanks could be isolated too that would be ideal. I'll look into it. Ta.
Any thoughts on a temperature regulator like this.

Thermostatic mixing valve , we fit these all the time in public buildings.
Great idea.
Just make sure you fit decent quality(.i.e.not ballofix) isolating valves for cleaning the filters. -
