To be honest matey I'd be tempted to stick around and see what people are selling on here
Most of us tend to accumulate bike parts like squirrels store nuts
Then our women folk get fed up of living in a bicycle workshop
Withhold sex
Forcing us to part with all our little gems
Not being funny
but I could build you a bike by tomorrow
with the stuff I have tucked away
Do us a 57cm track framed bike for £150, will ya? ;)

Not exactly an original choice, but they are great to ride and the geometry is really nice (IMHO as happy Bob owner). Then maybe £155 on a set of wheels ie.
Suzie promax SB 32H £30/(rear) £35 (front) here

(if you build them yourself)thats £300 left for drive chain and finishing kit.
You could build a lovely bike from quality new parts for 800 notes.
NB: My build started like this and ended up just over £1k (I Blame Campagnolo)

REALLY WANT TO GET A FRAME JUST LIKE THIS!Yep, a really nicely put together bike. As Pifko states thats a special edition frame with fork and trackend upgrade, and costs a bit more.
The miche gruppo on that (hubs and chainset), are considered to be top value for money though. Definitely worth considering.
The thing is £800 will buy you a lot of bike in the fixed gear world. So its worth taking time to look at the options.

Thanks for the link :) shame about the BLB 'signiture' on the frame and £100 does seem a quite alot extra for just a slightly different paintjob, i think il wait it out looking on the bay and on the for sale list hunting vintage style track frames :D thanks guys

Its not just the paint. The geo is different, the seat tube is fluted, it has different dropouts and the fork crowns are different too. Im sure there are some other things.

oh yeah face palm but still i don't think i have enough cash on my budget to spend that much on a frame at that price :/

This is a good place to check for vintage frames. Some beauties turn up here occasionally.

The trouble with anything 'vintage', is the price is basically what people are willing to pay at the time. Which at the moment is a lot. I was quoted 300-350 euros for a few different frames in good condition. At framesize 54/55 (quite common), you may struggle to steal a bargin on E-Bay, but its always worth a shot. Worth keep an eye on this thread.

More on fit
]www.coloradocyclist.com/bikefit The stuff on knee over pedal is not evidence based , but on the whole this a good start. The other view on KOPS is that centre of gravity and weight distribution are more important. Its also a bugger to do.
Go to the Rivendell Bikes site , yes its Tolkien inspired, for how to measure your PBH
Then try the Dave Moulton frame chart for top tubes and stems sizes - go to his webiste and find it from there , However, he tends to go for smaller sizes than the colorado method by 2cm > Either that or I am atypical. My view now is that if you go for a higher saddle height than the heel on the peddle method, then you need a bigger frame than Dave reccomends.
]Don't be afraid of the higher position, but move it up gradually.
