only had my 4 (and my first iphone) a few days but so far have got some fun apps. mostly geeky guitar bits, strobe tuner, guitar tool kit, some silly drawing ones (glow draw and mega draw. mostly all i've done so far is write "bums" in neon and show it to my colleagues). tunein radio is very, very good. listening to 6music at my desk reet now. not a big gamer but i might have a look for some fun bits later.
this is probably a very stupid question, but is there any way that apple will allow flash player or is there some loophole whereby you can instal it? is this what jailbreaking phones refers to?
feel free to mock me for my ignorance. this whole thing is quite new to me.

Steve Jobs says that Adobe Flash on mobile phones is for watching porn.
Glad you don't like porn mate.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
-
• #956
oh i can still get porn. redtube works a treat thanks.
i just want to watch videos on the bbc news site. it's annoying as nearly every article on the bbc site is a video now and flash is filtered at work AND on my fancy pants new iphone.
annoying.

took me a minute to figure out if you were offering to help or just gloating there. yep.
you did make me glad that my identity isn't as tied up with my arbitrary choice of mobile phone as yours seems to be though!
so thanks for that!
*adding token winky, just kidding, smiley face, paranoid that you don't know me well enough to discern that i'm just messing etc etc

I think the Apple iPhone 4 is absolutely one of the best mobile phones ever.
But I don't like being so tied in to the Apple way of doing things. Its just me really. -

it's my first apple experience tbh... oh except writing a dissertation on an ancient mac classic at uni about 15 years ago.
fwiw, on the back of 5 days experience, i agree and i agree.

I've got a 3g, but most of my friends have upgraded to iPhone 4's and now I have seriously phone envy. They keep emailing me videos of the fun things they're doing while I'm at work. Wankers.
Also, the quality of the screen and the camera is excellent, if you put a little drop of water on the screen, it usually magnifies a few pixels, but there are so many on the iPhone it barely changes! Wonderfully designed thing.

The only thing I like about the iPhone is that I no longer think about whether I want a new phone, the old 3G have serve me pretty well until OS 4.0 when it all gone pot and render it pretty useless (take age to just show up a text message).
the new iPhone 4 is an impressive bit of kit and should serve me well for the next couple or more years.

After aquiring a new phone, my old iPhone is now surplus so I decided to give it to my mum, and since she's the kind of person who hate having to relearn how to work a new phone out, the nice thing about the iPhone is that I can make it fairly straightforward for her;
