Haven't had a proper look back through the thread but iPhone won't let me verify my email. I type in the code that it sends but keeps saying I can't use this email. I recently changed phones and the verify message comes up every time I open my phone, as well as when I 'm using it. Any ideas? Cheers.

Is it a yahoo/btinternet/talk21 address. They recently decommissioned loads of email addresses and it’s a nightmare having it reinstated.

It's a Hotmail address.

In that case, no idea, sorry.

Anyone playing HQ? It's a live gameshow (about to kick off now) with a cash prize. Quite novel and good fun.
Oh and apparently I can refer folks, so use my username, beseku, if you want.

Looking for a case for my iphone se to protect against drops and if possible, water.
There are waterproof/shockproof cases on ebay from like £9 but I'm guessing they'll be next to useless, where /what brands should I be looking at?

Been using Otterbox for a couple of years - does the job not too spendy.

A Defender or one of the lighterweight ones?

I rate the Spigen cases, though mine is very minimalist.
They don't mention water resistance though, here's their toughest one: https://www.spigen.com/collections/iphone-se/products/iphone-se-case-tough-armor?variant=16524825729 -

Defender. Looks shit but does the job

Am I right in thinking you can go with the light inner case on its own or put that inside the waterproof outer bit if required?

Nm, watched a vid and got it.
Seemed awfully bulky and not waterproof.
Have just bought a thin Griffin one and can use a ziplock bag for waterproofness.

Dunno, only bit I don't have on mine is the bit with the clip on it

Anyone know if you can add a bluetooth printer to the list of printers Safari sees? Make the bluetooth printer appear as an Airprint printer or something?
Or, anyone used Star WebPRNT know how to turn off popup blocking?

Does anyone have a Lightning > 3.5mm audio adapter they don't use?

My other half's iPhone says it needs an update before she can phone or
use data, but also says it's up to date. Anyone had this? I think it's
an iPhone 5s?update on this - apple 'genius' says that this is a modem issue and can't be repaired and she'll need to buy a new phone. sounds like bullshit to me.
Can anyone help?

God I love Screen Time. Has taken me from 2-3 hours per day down to >1.5 hours and really changed my habit of mindlessly looking at my phone at every dead moment. Next goal is >1hr per day.
Just wish that sat nav on Google Maps didn't count, screws up my 7 day average. -

Something came up on my fb feed about a guy who's Apple watch detected a 'hard fall' (him flipping over the bars on his mtb) and phoned the emergency services who came and scooped him up while he was still unconcious.
Seems like a good idea, especially as I often mtb alone, but I don't have nor want an Apple watch.
Anyone know if there's an app for the iphone that does a similar thing?
I found one called Fallsafety Pro but it seems more aimed at people working at height and I think it might be subscription based service.

I have that facility on my lights, See.Sense icon. I didn’t think my Apple Watch would do it too.
