  • Wolfenstein 3D came out last week.... by far the best controls for any game + with autosave it's great for when you have a spare 5 mins

  • the guy i share my studio with made rolando. it's wicked! there is a new version in the making.

Is he rolling in money now? Sold ridiculous amounts hasn't it?

  • Also Photocalc is really handy for photographers, tell you how much daylight you have and stuff.

Platypus is a good R-Type style game. Air hockey (free) is ace, good two player on one phone fuction too. MotionX Poker Dice, is proper fancy, and I love Poker Dice.

Oh, and don't forget the lightsaber....

  • i have no idea! you'd assume so though.

  • Does anyone know how the ipod touch compares with the i-phone? There's the obvious drawback of it not being a phone, and only being able to connect to a wireless network rather than to O2's. But other than that, are there any advantages, what are the pros and cons

  • gabes - please shake his hand for me. Best game I've played for years, I love it. On the secret levels now.

forms - two mm thicker and you get a phone. It's a no brainer. Plus has a speaker inbuilt. They'll be coming down in price soon, about May when version 3 of the software comes out. Then no doubt there'll be a new one Autumn time.

There are no pro's and cons really. Its simply whether you want a MP3 player with a phone. Though like you mentioned before the Iphone you can access the internet everywhere, while the touch is limited to Wi-Fi areas.

  • Wolf 3d is great.

    Rolando is blowing my mind!

Yeah, that's what i thought. But i was wondering whther you get the same apps on both phone and touch, or whther one comes with more applications. I suppose a downside to the phone is that you would always have it on which would eat through battery. I'm gonna get the touch, i like having a shitty phone that i can take anywhere and not worry about...

  • I am currently loving Fieldrunners. And Pinball Dreams, obv. (still)

  • ever note is amazing so useful for a disorganized designer

  • Rolando is wicked - with music from mr. scruff.

YouTube - Rolando for iPhone and iPod touch - Launching December 18th on the Apple App Store

I love Rolando, almost identical to Locoroco actually (main reason why I brought that games), thought I already finish it after a week playing it, still fantastic thought

  • Touchgrind for all you finger skaters

    Darkroom for photos

BeejiveIM for instant messaging (pricey but worth it)

    I just can't get touchgrind.
the board is either to big or small

  • This game is awesome, cooooool music too. its VERY addictive

YouTube - Trace v1.0 - Free game for iPhone/iPod Touch

  • @ forms there's an ipod touch going for £70 over here
personally I like 'to do' - boring but i use it a lot
calendar - which comes as standard anyway
    facebook
    last fm
Deezer - sorta like last fm but some different artists
parra plays - great little games and nice graphics
    around me
    scribble
    jelly car
    TouchCalc

  • Cheers for that merk, i'm gonna think about it coz it's a bargain... but i've got my heart set on a 32gig, plus my bday's coming up soon, so between girlfriend and fam, i might not have to spend a penny!

  • I'm thinking of getting the HTC Magic, which is Android based. Anyone got an idea if there is good touring/route planner software out for the Android?

  • Just watched the preview of the iPhone 3.0 Software & SDK update.

There's some really good things coming this summer kids! :)

  • Has anyone used iMapMyRide for the iPhone? It looks pretty good but I'd like some reviews so I know what to expect when i upgrade my iPhone in a few weeks. I'd be using this for tracking long rides out into the country.

I'm open to suggestions of any other, similar, applications for the iPhone.

  • Very battery hungry, quite good though!
