No seriously, I give up. Fuck it. There are more important things to worry about today. I only wanted to listen one of my own crappy demos (for critical anlysis porpoises you understand) whilst having a crafty rollie outside the front door last night. The moment has passed, I've wasted way too much time on it, I no longer care and a whole new computer and set of software is in the offing.

Click on the phone on the left, then click on music at the top of the main panel, and make sure the new track is checked for syncing.

I have "iPhone sync" and "iPod sync" playlists and sync those rather than the entire music library. This means adding or removing tracks to/from the device is as simple as adding to or removing them from the playlist and hitting "sync"

Has this been mentioned?:
Mocha VNC Lite 3.3(free on app store)
http://mochasoft.dk/iphone_vnc.htmStoked to find a decent, free VNC app for the iPad.

How is it any better than logmein? Can't find any faults with that. Also the free version of VNC has restricted features that the logmein one does not.

Anyone here used Vine? It's sort of like Instagram except instead of a photo you can capture 6 seconds of video, with only stop recording/resume recording options. Here's the official page: https://itunes.apple.com/app/vine-make-a-scene/id592447445. I've been using it over the last few days and really love it. Some clever person's also developed this http://vinepeek.com/, a simple site that shows the latest uploaded 'vines' in a constant stream of ever changing short scenes from all over the world (in the few i watched whilst grabbing the URL I saw a halfpipe painted like a hockey arena, someone's cycle trip to a craft beer event and a fortune telling fish). The app's free and integrates through twitter or facebook (or Vine itself), definitely worth a look if you're bored of instagram.

google maps app is pretty bad apprently... I'll have a look at here maps, thanks

Really? I think the Google Maps app is much better than even the original Apple Maps app when it used Google data.
It loads really quickly (vector based) and has much more information than the original. It also implements street view and reviews very simply.
Nokia Here maps has a nice interface and good traffic information but the local restaurant / shop etc information is not great and there is no street view etc.

I think he's referring to the Android version which is a lots better than the iOS version with much more feature.

Mrs Pun doesn't seem happy with google maps, just trying to give her some options

Current google maps on iOS is great. Takes a little while to get a hang of the interface but when you do, it's ace.
+1 to all soul said

I don't tend to use street view so never noticed that Here is lacking in that aspect, I just like it as a good clear map.
Might try Google again given the comments above.

What RSS-readers are you lot using? I don't like Reeder very much so looking for an alternative, preferably something that can hook in to Google Reader
