Can one listen to the radio on an iPhone? I know it has no actual hardware, but through an 'app'? Is this dependent on wifi signal?

Not as far as Im aware. I use it for Aussie radio, but you can find pretty much anything.... Including police scanners from Chicago, which is some interesting listening... And air traffic control which will make you want to kill yourself. Don't need wifi and a lot of streams work on Edge too.

That's so incredibly lame, what a fuck-up.

It is a huge fuck-up and Apple themselves isn't helping the issue, I won't fib that it doesn't bother me but it does get a bit annoying having to repositioned the phone while being in an area with moderate reception.

The good thing is that those 'bumper' is free for those with an iPhone, mine should be coming soon.

It seems pretty random, I know a bunch of people with the iphone 4, some have signal/call dropping problems, others, myself included, have no problems what so ever. I dont have a bumper and I havnt got any issues.

Friend I work with just got one, but because he got it (iPhone4) from T-Mobile, and not an AppleStore,
he's not been offered a free bumper, and when he asked, was told that he had to pay separately. He's not a happy bunny.

nope. he just has to download the bumpercase app and order one.
