Oh yeah, probably best watched in full and with attention but think you could also get on ok if you drop in and out. Havenโt watched community for years but think that has similar in jokes running through it?

Buffy.
You know you want to.

Hmm. I liked the Mighty Boosh but latterly feel that Julian Barrett carried it. I'll maybe give it a go...

The trailer for Ripley, the new Talented Mr Ripley mini series on Netflix looks fantastic.

More what going on in the background, as well as in jokes. But doesn't lessen the viewing experience, as the non usians don't get the joke.

Any of the CSI and ncis maybe be even Jag that spawned ncis's Jethro Gibbs.
After a while all seem to merge.
Oh castle, bones and maybe the Mentalist.... actually maybe not as that has a build up.

Late to the party with Designated Survivor. ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
The evolution of Kiefer Sutherland removing his glasses got more dramatic and fluid as the episodes went on.

Does that explain it better?
Hmm I suppose. I guess I don't watch TV like this (anymore?). But in terms of a suggestion, I'd always go for the Simpsons (seasons 1-10!)

Anyone got a recommendation for a light comedy series show?
Well I guess you're following this thread for a while so might be familiar / have watched those already, but just in case you haven't:
- Fleabag
- Detectorists (S01 especially)
- Meet the Richardsons (S01 especially)
- State of the Union (S01 especially)
..all of those should match your criteria ๐
- Fleabag

Masters of the Air is pretty bad isnโt it?
Went from meh to pretty shit in just a few episodes for me. Genuinely baffled by the glowing reviews. Maybe i'm touchy because my docks worker grandad flew in Lancaster's but the RAF toff representation is just lazy Spielberg/Hanks drivel that they've pulled already. The stuff about segregation was new to me but the show actually led me to it by way of angry guy Googling "what did the USAAF think of the RAF?". Some pretty shocking accounts of how we didn't respect there values.

do I watch this with my nearly teenager?
I'd watch it with mine, the dick jokes are mainly a similar age kid laughing at their dad saying "I need to get my hands on Dick" or similar.

Looking forward to this. Wish I had time to replay Fallout 3 and New Vegas.
-
• #9193
Cheers.
Fleabag is awesome.
Got to say P&R either hasn't aged well, or was always a bit over rated.
-
• #9194
It does. Maybe I should reread the books, it's been quite a long time.

People just aren't handing jobs out like they used to though.
I enjoyed it, but I like all the people and was a big boosh fan, Noel's "acting" is very much Vince Noir but it's olden days. It's got silly jokes and dick jokes and silly dick jokes.
