I don't think I enjoyed the series as a whole as much as the first but the finale was quite something.

Watched that after show thing with Ed Gamble and they were all saying they’re friends and stuff but looking at Mollie’s face I didn’t really believe it.

We enjoyed it again, it's amazing how socially unaware the older generations were by flinging allegations around like they were Columbo .

I don't think it was a coincidence the two youngest contestants were also finalists - leaning into that 'innocence of youth' angle gave Harry great cover but how no-one questioned why he hadn't been killed before was a stupid oversight. We wanted Jaz FTW and when Mollie didn't infer that he must be faithful in that final vote, it had me full on stood up shouting at the tele.

Absolutely duped by Harry. Hope he gives her some cash! Jaz too was excellent and knew the score but unfortunately not how to convince others. Quite how Harry carried it off I have no idea, my face would give it away within seconds.

Yeah I’m annoyed about Harry’s ‘brilliant’ shield move everyone was talking about. Obviously so easy as an observer that knows all the variables and who knows how it’s been edited but the fact no one, even Jaz or Zack, at any point went ‘what if Harry is the traitor, took the shield, and is now playing us all?’ bugs me.

Also I’m off to the conspiracy theory thread since finding out Harry’s partner is a presenter on CBBC. It’s all just a ploy by the BBC to create a new young couple to front their flagship shows.

Finally watched the Traitors final. As said TV shows at it's finest.

I still can't believe Jaz didn't vote with Andrew and push his theory harder. Molly needed proper signposting and he didn't deliver.

Also I know it's easy to say as an observer, but how did no one quizz why Ross murdered his mum? That would have then let you count back.

watching persona, a turkish cop thriller. a young female detective and a cool older character as the quarry. about a guy with dementia and what he decides to do after the diagnosis. well worth a watch
on epsiode 9 or so and it's still keeping me enthralled.

Haven’t watched this series of true detective yet, but S1 was a Cthulhu story, S2 was supposed to be but then there was a re-write; this is what I assume you are referring to.

Whatever this is it is just very badly done, it feels like those dime a dozen generic horror flicks but just very very long.
The opening scene is awful, then it's just one cliche after another with stiff dialogue and acting, Showgirls style sex scenes and some really distracting songs put in randomly.
Even the colour grade is 15 years out of date as if they said "just make it look like Transformers".

I'm really enjoying it tbh. Best one since S1 imo.

Interesting setting, interesting semi-supernatural story, fun characters that are quite difficult people.

S1 worked for me because they basically defeated som kind of pan dimensional horror but were none the wiser.

I still think True Detectives season 1 is one of the best shows I’ve ever seen.
