  • Is this proof that the whole punk on mass media thing was a load of shite from a music producer?

  • Better call saul now has a cartoon of saul in school

    @lynx

  • Ahhh

  • Watched first episode last night. Shows promise

  • Tonight's Inside No 9 was dark af. Also the not so hidden hare was probably the best yet.

  • obi wan kenobi seems good so far... all the tension around Leia, Obi Wan, Vader etc is a bit muted as we know how it plays out in the end. Still, it's another decent Disney+ series to while away an odd hour

  • I loved it.
It deals with big stuff and isn’t snarky snide.

  • First two episodes of Danny Boyle's Pistols dramatisation were decent. States it's inspired by true events so don't expect a true to life retelling. Well cast.

  • Not sure it's been mentioned before but I downloaded 1883 a while ago but have been watching a couple a night for the last few days. Loving the grim, wild West vibes but essentially it starts with an everyone probably dies flashback then spends it's time showing how dangerous things were by killing innocent people all the time and occasionally building nice relationships and characters and then, oh no, they're dead. Well shot and acted dying all round.

  • Oh here's an interesting character, I'm liking how this develops, I wonder wh... oh they're dead.

Best one of those was one of the "lead" characters in spooks getting her head deep fried in the second episode.

  • Just got to the end of Moon Knight, watched it in the expectation it would get better but it just got worse.

Final episode in particular was balls with some real deus ex machina.

  • I didn't mind it; I wasn't expecting much from it so what I did get was fine to watch while I was eating lunch. It's a bit stupid that it seems like a single season series though; makes the whole introduction of Jake(?) a pointless cliffhanger.

  • I found it really annoying that they wasted a metric shit ton of the time from the whole series drawing out the relationship between marc and steven but then would have throw in pivotal moments where big reveals about stuff required an in-depth knowledge of the comics to know what the fuck was going on. If they were going to do that they should have just made him ready to go and given us some actual competent superhero storyline action instead and let the audience learn about how he came to be another way.

not sure why they think every single origin story has to be about the person when they have no powers or can't use them. they're always just some chump running away from shit most of the time.

  • Given that the whole thing seemed an origin story rather than a coherent series I'm sure there will be another season or crop up in some other films or something.

Would have enjoyed a bit more actual Moon Knighting

  • Would have enjoyed a bit more actual Moon Knighting

Would agree with that. A superhero series without a superhero... sounds like half of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

  • Sat through Pistol last night, it got terrible reviews and it certainly is a mess, but it does have charm and plenty of worth watching moments.

  • Found the blacklist recently with James Spader, trying to see if it gets better.

  • It doesn’t. Every episode is basically the same.

  • I hated it after 30mins
