Anyone remember the name of an Australian tv show/miniseries from late 90's or early 2000's about corrupt cops?
It started with a bunch of guys holding up a bank, then running around the corner and getting away in an unmarked police car. There was also a memorable scene where a bloke was thrown off a boat, tied to something heavy like a barbecue.
My google-fu is weak tonight, I just can't find anything which fits my memory. -

ive been slogging thru GOT from the beginning because i want to. bingeing them makes the various stories hang together far better. it also has you reaching for the whothefuckisthatipedia far less often.
first rule of GOT: whenever there's an outdoors scene, chances are someone is going to get chopped in half / garrotted / raped / otherwise horribly maimed.
it's a great show. what are they gonna do when it all winds up?

Martin and HBO have agreed to make the Dunk & Egg stories into a spin off series after the 8 seasons of GoT end, basically they'll be a prequel, not read them but apparently they're good... The latest episodes "Battle of the Bastards" battle scene was absolutely brilliantly shot.

I'm watching two things at the moment, both reasonably good, and both cancelled at the end of the first series. It means I can enjoy them without worrying they are going to go a bit meh. I'm looking at you, Peaky Blinders.
Forever, a bit like the American version of Sherlock, but with added immortality.
Almost Human, big budget Scifi, must have been cancelled because it cost so much. -

Sad to see him go, but why didn't he have any kind of weapon? Even just an uprooted tree would've been enough for him to batter the Bolton infantry single handed...
I know I'm biased, but The Big C and Me on iplayer this evening was awesome. Not easy to watch sometimes, but very honest.
