  • More of a Pantone “polished turd”...

Gonna go buy two crates of beer? Please buy two crates of beer.

  • Please keep the saddle.

  • Far more interesting than a Crust fork.

  • Got an omnium delivery, mudguards, Thule bracket and the extended bar (wow that’s MASSIVE)

  • I like this a lot, gunna be great once you’ve got it set up.

(Plz don’t keep the saddle 😂)

How much did it set you back?

    also this

  • Anybody have any experience with Muli Bikes from Germany?
They look like a lot of fun!

I actually saw one of those in Berlin today.. stopped, had a look at it - and then found the owner (who was waiting for their food in front of a eatery) and had a little chat with them - and he was so kind and asked whether I wanted to ride it up and down the street!
    : ]
It was kinda heavy-loaded, plus the bike itself is rather heavy as mentioned before.. combined with the small size it made balancing more difficult than expected (keep in mind I'm not a trained cargo driver, but found it definitely harder than driving a Bullit for example).

    Was a bit disappointed really.
It's not as fun to ride as you might think; guess due to a combination of long wheelbase like a Bullit but load not being as close to the ground, and weight in relation to overall size.

  • Some good observations. I'd still like to try one for myself though..

  • Lovely form factor - but forward-face horizontal drop-outs with an Belt-Drive-IGH? I don't know about that one.

  • Please keep the saddle

Haha, I kind of like it and defo not blinging this up so probably yes.

Please buy two crates of beer.

Good idea but they don't sell them in plastic crates here. I have a few wooden crates laying around but weight etc.

  • How much did it set you back?

    About £150 used. I think they're about €400 new

  • Back from store, bought a basket full of groceries and made it back uphill alive. Positive vibes.

  • needs a bulb hooter

  • Spot on. I'll see what I can find.

  • Bought an old bench grinder off of Kijiji last night, a rack + strap do not a cargo bike make, especially with 20 plus kilos of angry cast iron balanced precariously on top.

  • I'm in the game !

First step done, it rides great !
Next step, make a box to carry my 6mo old daughter !

  • Just put in the green box you have there and strap down with used inner tubes.

  • Cattle prod for when she tries to climb out.

  • Mmmmh nice ideas in there !

  • Nice Rohloff Bullitt!

  • Looks like cargo is splintering into sub-genres. This is supposedly a "light duty cargo bike" that carries less than the GSD, but is more capable than the Vektron. Sports the new Performance Line motor.

I'm both excited to see it, and absolutely dreading the inevitable QC issues of the first production run.

  • Sounds like there will be an explosion of ‘cargo’ bikes that are what people have wanted for generations - well-engineered shoppers.

  • Is that a dropper post?, planing on getting rad or easy adjust for different riders ?

  • Looking at that frame makes me seasick.
