Omnom mechanics

Does this steering setup on my mini max look ok? It's steering fine but I wondered why one bolt was longer, maybe it's been replaced?

Top one has 100% been replaced, judging by 3x plain nuts and washers.

Just had a spin on my brothers Trek Fetch. Its an absolute beast. Sweet with the motor assist. Serious ££ though but it's allot of bike.

Yes its huge. The handling is like a motor bike! The cargo box is massive. My Bullitt looked like a baby next to it.

Is there a disc brake adapter that would work with these kind of dropouts? If I ran a mech I wouldn’t need their chain tensioning functionality

Ah amazing thanks! I think it was you who had mentioned it before but I wasn’t sure if you had similar dropouts. Wouldn’t it interfere with my rack though?

Yh, you sold me the aluminum base for my green bullitt earlier this year which i like by the way. We met up around stokie like midnight marauders!

Also regarding steering links, it’s a good idea to have the bolt going in from the top. I appreciate they have nylocs on them, but if the nut were to work loose and come off for whatever reason, the bolt won’t fall straight out and you won’t immediately lose your steering.

I wrapped the battery in neoprene, mostly for vibration.

My pal is going to mastic the box before painting.

My rack eyelet is cut off to fit the adapter, but I still have mudguards.
Your situation looks quite different. I think you could make it work and keep the rack.
