Cervelo's are just a bit of flash for a lot of the fat accountants but obviously there are people out there who ride them too... same as any other high end product from Guitars, Cars, Motorbikes etc.

Similarily I've seen a guy on Sundays who cycles to Starbucks on a Langster S-Works w/ Campagnolo Pista wheels in full lycra, has a coffee and cycles home, fair play to him if he actually rides it much but he doesn't look it!

it's odd,but nobody seems to object to middle-aged men buying porsches and ferraris, even though they clearly can't drive like lewis Hamilton. But if anyone who isn't grand tour material dares to buy a ( relatively cheap) top end racing bike, they get all the bile and vitriol.
