  • Great to see Fi back on the road. 🙃

  • Will be my first time seeing them and really looking forward to it.

  • Got me a tickie for The Cosmic Psychos - Green Door Store Brighton July 8

    Pub. 😬

  • Breeders were great last night (sorry kl). Lots of fun and a really nice crowd in the area I was stood at least.

  • Ah well, did manage to punt the tickets, albeit at a substantial loss. May go up to Mdou Moctar next week to make up for it.

  • I see Pearl Jam cancelled their gig tomorrow citing illness. Ticket sales looked a bit shit after a load of them went on a reduced sale at £50 odd

Ticket sorted for Paul Heaton in December - always a great gig

  • Body Count on Sunday. Really hope they play this:

  • I tried to see if I could get to any of their gigs but they're all conflicting with other travel/events. :(

  • We need the Ice-T hip hop tour

  • "Fun show! Good mosh pit", he observed thoughtfully from the safety of the balcony.

Stage was a bit chaotic, one of those i-shoulda-fukken-seen-them-the-90s-when-I-had-the-chance kind of gigs.

  • Yeah, it's now more a bucket list thing to see these bands I used to cane back in the day. I know most will never be as good as when everyone was younger but would still be nice to 'pay my respects' to some of these formative year bands.

  • Mdou Moctar last night was one of the best live sets I've seen in years.

  • Never heard of him, listened to some of Funeral for Justice and it's brilliant- must have been a great show

  • So very good. Had really enjoyed the KEXP sets on YouTube, but he really shreds the fuck out of it live and is much more of a showman than I expected. Fucking loud too.

  • Might be seeing Hope of the States in December which is something I never thought would happen so excited if it does work out. I say might because all the info I can find says they're playing three dates with one at the Dome in Tufnell Park which sold out immediately. But there's another date being advertised at 'Metronome' which according to the website is opening this summer. Who knows, got it on my credit card so can hopefully claim it back if it turns out to be a fake listing in some way.

  • Nils Frahm at the Barbican was very good this evening. Sounded great and also a very pleasant and funny guy.

  • Grace Jones doing her thing along with several costume changes and a hula hoop.
    She’s 76.
Proper blew my mind with the energy of someone half her age.

  • Crystal Palace park

  • 👍 , Sounds like a great show.
