My partner was the landlord there for a time. We loved there. Put shows on. Had our wedding reception there.

Saw the Walkmen at Koko last night. I’ve waited over a decade to see them and it was everything I hoped and dreamed.
I now understand why people would go and see the same band several times on the same tour!

Sparta deserved more than a few hundred people at the Underworld. Jim Ward is still very good at screaming, however many years down the line.

A year or so ago, following the advent of having a baby, I stopped following a lot of artists and labels in order not to get FOMO and discourage myself from buying records and tickets... then I come here and have my heart broken in this thread. I'd have paid £30 to hear 'Cut Your Ribbon' live last night.

Sorry you missed it - I could've left after the first song (they played Wiretap Scars end to end) and would still have felt I'd got my money's worth

Longshot/random one, anyone know of any spare tickets for Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs at Kentish Town tonight. Had put off buying tickets cos couldn't be bothered travelling up there but have decided this afternoon that I fancy it but sold out.

Ive been around for 51 years and I thought I would never see this band.Im too stunned to be emotional about this , but this band changed and saved my life in innumerable ways. I love them.

Same here (plus a few years). Have bought a ticket now.
Saw Dexys a few weeks ago and now on my way to an OMD listening party with Andy McCluskey to round out a reliving of the early 80s.

Was annoyed at myself for not seeing the full Osees set at Wide Awake this year so made sure to get myself a ticket for their Camden gig next August earlier today.
