TBF they might have been referring to the incredible b-sides album

One, possibly two, spare tickets for Saturday if anyone's interested.

Got mine already. Saw Made of stone last night. Have to say I was disappointed. It started well with the early days of the band but far too much time devoted to the people of Warrington without really revealing much about the band.

Finsbury Park will be wicked. What did you want to know about the band, yarklad?

Maybe some more explanation about why Reni is such a douche sometimes (like why did he get straight into a taxi after walking off strange in Warrington. .) Just felt like I was going to get some answers to the mystery of the roses and aside from family still photos there wasn't much footage that hadn't been seen before. Reni wasn't even interviewed for the whole thing once was he?
Always hoped I 'd get to see them live so can't wait

I think Meadows has said there are plenty of books and documentaries out there already that dish the dirt, he didn't want the film to be about that. I actually thought some of the best bits in the film *were *the fans. Reni just lets his sticks do the talking, what a drummer. Seeing him and Mani grinning at each other in rehearsals did it for me.

^ def this
Musicians are almost always quite dull in interview - much more about the fans and the music - Waterfall rehearsal footage brought a rose tinted tear to my eye actually

Damn right, damn right.

This from the Huff Post:
*What also seems inevitable looking back is how they fell out of love with each other after only** two glorious albums***
LOL
Lozzles! Must have missed them

Just on way to Glasgow Green. It's been fucking it down all day, now clear. Hope it stays like this, suspect it very much will not

great night - only totally pished it down once - between Primal Scream and Stone Roses as French Kiss was played - crowd went mental - sun came out seconds after the rain - huge rainbow, moon was out too - quite surreal - not seen such debauched druggy crowd for a long long time, turned round to see a girl with her pants down squatting taking a piss (in middle of the crowd) AND doing a bump of fauxcaine off her mates phone screen at exact same time. Bloke standing next to me proclaimed 'God bless hallucinogenics.........it's a Tuesday right?'
Ah Glasgow, you did not disappoint! Made Heaton Park seem like a quaint tea party

You had Primal Scream as well?
Nice! We had P.I.L. down in London.
They were shit! Mind you I can't remember that much of the Roses as a friend kept giving me E's all day.
I was lucky to get the last train home...

So, this new single...
Expectations currently set reasonably low. Will probably still be excited by 8pm and disappointed shortly afterwards.

Hered it before on 6 music . It's alright by their standards but not a stoner classic .

The opening lines are pretty terrible, after hearing them repeated three times I could barely sit through the rest. It's like an Ian Brown b-side with a John Squire guest appearance. Not sure I can even be bothered to give it a second listen.
Anyone with tickets for this summer's gigs must be feeling a bit glum at the prospect of more of this stuff.
Give up lads.

I would say the same about the rolling stones as well . Give up on the live stuff its shite !
-
• #198
Shit song. However it isn't the 90's and I can't get hold of decent drugs anymore.
