it is, but you wanna sit down for a few minutes and have a beer on a clean stool rather than some pickey's sick.

I'm very picky about what sick i sit in too, and beer in a clean stool is much preferable to beer in faeces with blood .
(Is this an opportune moment to mention Eddie's first language is Russian ?)

I live on Hackney Road so I could latch on on your way through. Will you be entering Hackney Road at the bottom by the church? If it's a faff then I'll just come to HPC.

Alright peeps, did some of the chipping route this evening (phew) so if we're stuck for someone who knows the way, we can hold this in reserve. It would be further but not much. Might even pedal back some of the way on it for the nocturne in the eve.

Feckin' head windy tonight though and no mistake....urgh.

Can we have an official London Fields meet (time and place) en route? My mate Andy (roadie) and I are planning on riding there on Saturday but won't want to go to HPC to start...

Yeh accuweather is currently showing sunny, with the odd shower - which is fine.
bbc weather dice will probably roll again before tomorrow anway.

if people who are already well capable are doing it geared - surely they will be riding a different ride really? I presume you're not going to want to stop for slower people catching up, food, punctures etc.....? or are you planning on making the return leg the fast one?

saying that I'm not even sure I'm going to make it. Thanks to boooooring knee problems yet a fucking gain. Props going out a second time to Dozy McFuckwit, pedestrian extraordinaire. I'm ibuprofening it and seeing how they feel tomorrow. most annoying.

yeah I was only bringing it up cos while it would be lovely to ride with you I have a feeling you'd soon disappear into the distance/become rather frustrated..

..shame, me and jim had a mutual socre to settle with our knees from the winter.. would have been nice to hi five each other en route... have a good ride dudes, probably see you coming back around Roydon!

I'm going geared. Looking forward to a nice day out cycling with forumengers and getting some miles in the legs. No festival fun for me I'm afraid - straight back on the train.
