It is still cheaper to buy sneakers in the UK when comparing to mainland Euro prices. Living in Spain has curbed my purchases massively although this is not exclusivly down to price. Availabilty is gash.
Prices seem higher proportional to the availability of dodgy copies. For every legit pair of Nikes sold there'll be a 'run-on' from the factory sold, and probably a few fakes. I'm surprised anyone in countries with tidy black market economies pay for boxed & tagged 'real' trainers but they do, and they often pay more then in the UK.

Barcelona is fine for trainers. Wouldn't say it's any worse than London tbh. They might be approx 10% more expensive but at least you can try them on in store. Postage from the UK is very reasonable and sometimes even free.

Absolutley, but Spain will often be overlooked regarding the real exclusive releases which will still be released in small numbers in UK, Italy France and even Germany.
Barcelona has a great selection considering Madrid's is so poor and you could find most things released in the UK in BCN but very little elsewhere.
I would say you save 10% inc international postage! it is not a lot but it is still more expensive than these recenlty 'hiked' up UK prices hence why I thought it worth noting. Yes although prices have been increased it could be worse as we are still not as expensive as Spain, for example.
Living in Mallorca means I refresh my collection every few months when I return to the UK... and I just have to hope some nice shit is available.
As long as Nike keep milking the AM1 and the Blazer and every tom dick n 'arry spends money on them, i'm happy. Hopefully it means the nice stuff when it is released stays on the shelf long enough for me to kop some.

Trainer geeks. Please help.
Can there be different versions of the same recently released trainer out there? Say I missed the boat on a pre-order of a trainer (AM1 in this case) and now I see them being available in numerous places now. Are they one and the same trainer? The ones I held in my hands this weekend looked utter shite in comparison to the photos I saw online. What the haps?
Thanking you.

The Yeezy's?

I can't remember where I saw the pre-order for them but I've started spotting these about online and in shops. What I help in my hand looked very different to what the link looks like. Depressingly so.
No Yeezy's for me, C. My tastes aren't quite so outlandish.
These: http://www.endclothing.co.uk/brands/nike/nike-air-max-1-og-91168.html
It looks like they've altered some of the materials.

Yes, that's the one. I was really digging the suede on the ones I linked to. The material definitely isn't suede now. It's more felty. And shit.
-
• #9340
So does that mean there are different versions of a trainer available? Is it common? Where can I get the suedey ones??
-
• #9341
Shops usually use their own photos of the products they have in stock.
Sometimes materials can change between samples and final retail product so sometimes catalogues/stock photos distributed have different images as they've used the sample to show retailers before ordering.
So Hypebeast image is likely to be of a sales sample. If you are UK8 you might find one popping up on Ebay.

• #9342
Sorry, I'm very bad at reading between the lines. By popping up on Ebay do you mean the suedey ones I fell in love with? Or the cheap'n'nasties you can get in a few shops these day?
-
• #9343
Sales samples (if that is what the suedey version is) regularly pop up on Ebay but they are only ever made as a UK8

• #9344
From any sellers in particular or could it be any fucker? Cheers, dubtap.
