Did you try giving him the tissue so he'd blow his noes and you could to collect his body fluid for the voodoo doll?
I mean... Shit.

Haha, I'm pretty sure it was the spitting contest that foiled me. You had to time the spit with the wind (the woman pirates belt/scarf would blow in the wind) but I could never time it right. Fail.

But the pair I had were trainers not track shoes.
Cannot find a pix or pair anywhere.
Any ideas Pistanator?
I remember wearing them round to a mate's to show them off the day I bought them, broke into some B-Boying (as one did back in 82-83), and getting a scuff mark on the swoosh. Gutted!Yeah nice mate, remember them.

shootthebreeze, i think the version of those spikes you had may have been called omega flame, or maybe something to do with steve cram but i think the steve cram's looked the same but were blue and white with a silver swoosh. try googling nike omega flame

I had the Steve Crams, they were called 'Windrunner' I think? from 86/87
I had them in black and white with yellow swoosh, 'Nike Air' on the back in a box(smilar to Nike Air Sock Racer), they also came with a metallic blue swoosh. Had two little reflective bits in the black upper round the toebox and the airbag was actually visible INSIDE the heel of the insole!

supreme drops piss me off rotten.
fuckin' resellers ruin it although i guess thats to be expected. -
• #286
yeah, i think your right on the windrunner, it's all so long ago unfortunately.i can't remember what i did a week ago let alone 20 plus years ago, i blame acid house.
supreme should be pushing the designs more rather than just rehashing the 80's.not very forward thinking.best thing about supreme are terry's calenders.
i've got original vans, by original i mean made in the usa not the shit they sell know that are 3 inches wider and fucking ugly, in the same black pattern with a black sole. -

that skull and cross bone design is old too. the old ones look cool but do we need them again.
team with a ironic rock t shirt and look like everyone else. -

The Terry Richardson/Supreme campaign was ace - using real life porn stars! My mate's got a poster on his wall with a doris bending over, holding the gammons open while wearing a Supreme double fingered ring/knuckleduster
-
• #289
yeah, it was was a well shot campaign ; )
it was at the height of terry's powers before he got ripped off by every shoreditch bedsit dweller doing a fash mag with daddies money. vice anyone.check vincent gallo in h&m advert shocker, i suppose it finances another arty blow job movie.

supreme should be pushing the designs more rather than just rehashing the 80's.not very forward thinking.
its not about being forward thinking for Supreme - they do what they do well, using influence from particular eras, situations and cultures.
Theres a pretty good interview with james jebbia I read somewhere, I think it was a fashion book of some sort - he talks alot about supremes positioning, multiple japan stores and exclusion of european stores etc.
being forward thinking would spoil em - they do what they do well.
Surely that's a pass then? Nerds unite! (I could never complete MI 2 though, bummer)
