My last SNKRS purchase was delivered to the wrong address.
DPDs fault (round the corner from me, but not even similar number or road name)Thankfully they didn't want size 12 Pre Days, and dropped them off to me.

I want some dad trainers for around town, pub etc but can’t find anything quite right. Something like classic ASICS up thread or colourful Adidas. More trainer style than flat manc footie yob style.
Green, blue, multi colour.
Any thoughts? -

Unfortunately your problem is taste.
Anything that looks half decent on a classic style / colourway will no doubt be a collab with a reputable outfit.
Therefore they will be priced accordingly and sell out.
I have those Sunflower Gel Lytes.
They were a ton.

I was just thinking about manc footie footwear after seeing loads of young lads chanting in London Bridge station, dressed to a man in 35 year old Adidas silhouettes.
25 years ago the fans and players pretty much dressed alike but now the players have gone way out designer wear, and the fans their age are doing 1980s cosplay

Yeh the sunflower ones are lovely but not in stock in my size I think. Do they get very dirty? They look like the sort of fabric that absorbs dirt and stains?
Sorry, also do they size normally? I found a sunflower pair in stock!

Adidas Yung / Ozweego styles come in a bucket of colours, they aren't quite full dad shoe - always had a soft spot for some of the Diadora reissues too for something slightly different.
Speaking of Adidas - just picked up a cheap pair of futurepacers, bit mental looking as with most of my trainers but Jesus they're comfortable - why have I never bought anything with that bouncy polystyrene looking sole before?! Also they're reflective. And pink - will look lovely shoved in the back of the wardrobe next to the reflective green Nike apprentice that I just remembered about...

For me they are the best fitting trainers on the market. I am uk 9 and they are so comfortable.
They have picked u some dirt natch, but I have trainers to go fell running in too.

If anyone wants a pair of the dunk high orange label "unbleached" in UK6, I'm selling the pair I bought.
Probably too small for everyone here, but just in case someone also has small feet, or if you know someone with small feet who is into trainers.
I pretty much just enter every Dunk raffle with Slam and Natterjacks because I love Dunks, but when these turned up they look really similar to a sand coloured suede pair of Dunks I have already and I'm not bowled over by them, so I'd rather just sell them on.
Not trying to make a profit here, £100 is what I paid, so that's what I'm looking for. I can post is you're interested, but I think it will be about £10.

Is Natterjacks same as the shop that remains in Kingston-on-Thames? Haven't been there since mid-90s.

Thoughts on these?

If you have to ask!

Yeah, I've never been to the actual shop but they've been running raffles and I've won a few draws with them.

Been there a few times.
They are more skate stable.
With another trainer shop further up.
Kingston is tired tho.

I remember Vince at Natterjacks, very friendly, kitted all my mates out in Dosse Posse and Toking Premier Crew clothes.

I grabbed a pair of the futurecraft 4d, absolutely love them. Super comfortable as well, but look terrible with jeans.
Need to be worn with a rolled hem I think, wore them out with some new selvedge (too long for me tbf) and felt like a right plonker.

I'm after suggestions for some new trainers. I've worn plain black Vans Authentics for years but I never get more than a year out of them and I'd like something with a bit more cushioning once my current pair inevitably fall apart. What should I be looking at that's vegan, plain black and not too clumpy?
-
• #22722
Are stan smiths vegan?
-
• #22723
Unsure but they're not my thing. I don't really know what I want though, ha ha.
-
• #22724
Superga do vegan stuff they might have something

I had some Supergas in the past and thought they looked great but found them really uncomfortable annoyingly (I have fucked up feet so not Superga's fault).
I quite like the looks of these from Nike, look a bit like Janoskis.

There's been loads of stories in the US about high value shoes getting robbed after being shipped from Nike after people won on the Snkrs app.
I thought this was odd as you'd have to open every package to find what was in it and was worth stealing. Now I've noticed Nike shipping labels have the style number, colourway and shoe size printed on them. 😂🤡🤡🤡
