  • Got a pair of the mountain fly low, which are ridiculously comfortable, but also look shite with jeans. Dilemma.

  • Gopped?

  • What colour did you get I like them but they do look quite chunky.

  • The brown/basalt/black.

Actually fancied the bright green ones with tan, but then went the other way when buying them for some reason. Not really had them out though so think they will win me over.

  • Ordered a pair of these this morning.
Do like a Dunk and asymmetric colours are always a favourite of mine.

But I am rather liking them.
not enough to pay RRP for them

  • Reminds me of Parasyte

  • Ah another toothy one, these are a little more Attack on Titan

  • Guessing these have already featured

  • Anyone know of any repair patch type things that stick inside the heel? Have a couple of pairs that are in great shape externally but the lining round the heel has shit itself making them absolute heel-shredders after half an hour...

  • I've seen them for leather shoes not sure if they work on trainers. Stick heal insole repair on ebay you will get a load to give you the idea.

  • I need some water proof (resistant) footwear for the winter dog walks.
More long grass and muddy fields, than fording rivers.

Currently drawn to Vans MTE, which also have Gore-Tex membrane, so should be more waterproof than others?

An recommendations for wintery trainers that will keep my toes dry, and me upright chasing a puppy across a muddy park?

  • I have the Vans for the same purpose and they're great but extremely warm, only really wear them when it's near zero or they are uncomfortably sweaty

  • Have a look at the adidas terrex range they do some semi hiking boot stuff, as well as lots of gore tex based trainers for the trail runners

  • Maybe some Nike ACG bits? Usually pretty lairy design-wise

  • Top advice all round.

    Will checkout the Terrex stuff.
Forgot all about ACG too, used to have some BITD

  • I have some Terrex Cold Ready boots which are pretty lightweight, warm and so far waterproof

  • I bought these for just that purpose (but also to run with the dog). Been great in the rain (not tested in anything torrential yet) and early mornings kicking through the wet grass.

  • Can second the nikes got a pair and keep ya feet dry. And v comfy.

  • Also Nike do other Gore-Tex such as Pegasus and AF1, if that's your bag and you can find them.

Oops that's them above isn't it?

  • Yeah thems is the pegasus trail 3. You might be able to get the trail 2 a bit cheaper now
