I have loved Flyknit Free for years but can no longer find any NOS in a decent colour in my size. What is the closest current alternative please?
RIP sweet Prince.

Yeah I'm with you the fly knitt free, they were great. If your size 10 or under you can get repro ie fake ones from China. Wish nike would re issue them esp the 4.0

Maybe it's time I got my Michael Johnson Atlanta '96 Cortez out of storage.
Except mine were never that clean after that Fatboy Slim x Armand Van Helden show at the Academy in '99. The one with the rotating boxing ring.

Trainer stories/question: I distinctly remember at the 2006 World Cup standing at a Cologne urinal and flooded piss on the floor soaking through breath holes in the sole of my silver Adidas, making my socks wet. What trainers were they and why was the design so rubbish?

Crocs?

Micropacer?

No, more conventional looking, bit like Superstars.
Crocs actually may have dried out quite nicely.

Got it...Forest Hills. Tried to fill the holes with superglue, mastic. Nothing seemed to last.
Edit: Sophisticated adjustable sole ventilation system/piss holes.

Only ever had one pair of Cortez about 20 years ago, loved them - they were a sample apparently, white leather with a gold swoosh & were the only trainers people tried to buy off me. Probably because my taste in trainers is generally fucking howling but still, they were pretty nice & I always wished I hadn't worn them to absolute destruction.

Is there any websites for helping identify old models of trainers, with info on the year of release etc? I've had a look back over the last few pages but couldn't see mention of any. I've also tried googling and been through a few websites but can't find any pics of the ones I have.
Specifically I was after info on some old Adidas I bought new probably 10-15 years ago, maybe more, can't remember exactly. They are brown leather and the light green is suede, and they have leather laces. I've not worn them much, and I'm not one for keeping boxes so that's long gone, so no clues from that I'm afraid.
Alternatively if there's any sneakerheads/Adidas aficionados on here that happen to know, I'd be grateful for any info on the model name/number/year etc. Also attach pic of the label on the inside in case that contains any identifiers, and the insole has 'superior quality' in gold lettering if that means anything. I tried a few of those codes in google but got nothing.

Adidas craftsmanship pack, decade low.
Edit: the ART number is the model, and I guess the 06/08 is month and year of manufacture

Bingo! Brilliant work, thanks. Very impressive, I wasted far too long getting nowhere at all, should of just come here first. 2008 then. And the decade low is the name, haha I know they're not to everyone's taste, but I thought you were saying it was the worst trainer of the decade :)

I've got some new white trainers in their way and would like to keep them that way, is there a forum recommended dirt repellent spray?
Creo Protect or the like?
Are they all the same?
loads of life left in them unless the sole has worn through...need a big clean up though
